Direct Translator for Catia

You can now bring native Catia files directly into CheckMate 7 using direct translators. This translator can be purchased from Origin International by calling 1-800-269-2509. Note: This is a one way translator only. 

Catia - CIMMDT-CAT

• CIMMDT-Cat works within CheckMate 7.
• The program supports CATIA Version 3.2.x to Version 4.2.x. Both Unix and IBM mainframe CATIA data are supported. These are commonly referred to as ISO-ASCII and EBCDIC files. The Version 4 ".model" files and EXPORT format files (produced by the CATEXP utility in CATIA) are read in and written out. No pre- or post-processing of the data is required in CATIA or CheckMate 7.
• The software is completely independent of CATIA and requires neither the software nor CATIA license to run it. You do not need the CATIA software to be installed anywhere on your network. Just CheckMate 7 alone is required.
• The CATIA user does not have to do anything special to prepare the CATIA model to be read into CheckMate 7. The data produced by the CheckMate 7 to CATIA module can be directly read in interactive CATIA without any further modifications. The EXPORT format files can be imported into CATIA using the Dassault-supplied utility called CATIMP.
• The software is meant for CheckMate 7 designers who have very little knowledge of CATIA. You can become proficient in the software in about 10-15 minutes and does not require any formal training. The CheckMate 7 "look and feel" in the product ensures that even novice users  become productive within a very short time.
