Devil May Cry

Get Ready For The DmC Devil May Cry Live Chat

Excited by next week's release of the stylish action game DmC: Devil May Cry? Then you'll want to tune in to our DmC Devil May Cry Live Chat for an exclusive look at the PC version. We'll be joined by Associate Producer Greg Lewickj and Community Manager Greg More as they provide a detailed walkthrough and discussion of DmC. This will also be a good chance to ask us and the developers any questions you have, and possibly win some prizes.

Some history: a little over a decade ago—2001 to be specific—Capcom released what was described as a "crazy action game": Devil May Cry. DMC's focus on fast and stylish combat combined with charming lead character Dante helped define one of gaming's premium action franchises that would last until Devil May Cry 4's release in 2008. For this newest installment, Capcom has partnered with UK development studio Ninja Theory (the developers behind Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey To The West), and rather than make the expected Devil May Cry 5, they have opted for a new creative take on Dante's origin. DmC still features fast combat with brutal attacks and precise combos, but with Ninja Theory's distinct perspective when it comes to stylized visuals and storytelling, and we're happy to bring this title to the Origin catalog and offer this early look to our users.

If you want to get a sneak peek at live DmC gameplay on PC before its Origin release on January 25, then be sure to come to our live chat on January 17, 3PM Pacific Standard Time

i just want to know what it was like for them to use steamworks and not follow capcoms crappy idea of GWFL and how did you convince Capcom of doing such thing.

I just want to know why they turned Dante into a drug abuser with no style.
