Medal Of Honor Warfighter

New Today on Origin: Medal of Honor Warfighter

Continuing a tradition that started with Medal of Honor for the PlayStation back in 1999, Medal of Honor Warfighter puts players into an authentic shooter experience backed by meticulous research. Like 2010’s Medal of Honor, players step into the boots of an elite modern day Tier 1 Operator (Preacher) to chase a terrorist mastermind who plans to use an explosive chemical called PETN to deadly effect. This story uses missions inspired by real-world events – such as the hostage rescue in Abu Sayyaf’s stronghold in Basilan, Phillipines to assaulting Al-Shabaab’s “Pirate Town” on the Somali Coast. The developers did exhaustive research when putting this title together, talking to real-life Tier 1 Operators and analyzing real hotspots (like the ones just mentioned) and possible threats to create an experience that is as true to real-life Special Forces combat and missions as possible.

The Frostbite 2 engine, last seen in Battlefield 3, renders these missions with high graphic fidelity and destructibility while throwing you into the thick of firefights and chases only seen by the world’s deadliest soldiers. Once you finish this gorgeous and realistic experience, you can then jump into the multiplayer mode, and represent your nation during online competition. Besides playing to unlock a host of elite classes and weapons, players can also try out Tier 1 units from nations including U.S. Navy SEAL, British SAS, and Russian Spetsnaz. Again, since the Frostbite 2 engine means destructible environment, that means no camping and sniping – you’ll have to move tactically and coordinate with your Fireteam (a competitive mechanic that rewards teamwork) buddy for success.

Your entry into 2012’s authentic military experience can be had for $59.99.

For Wirejockey1976 and Shadow201190 - We have a help article up in our forums about the potential specific issue you may be running into. Please head to http://bit.ly/QrAj7K and follow the steps within. Generally, this sort of issue is caused from not allowing the Origin client through an anti-virus or personal firewall software on your machine.

If that doesn't help, please contact Customer Support via http://help.origin.com.

@satanswork - If you had pre-ordered MOHW, you were automatically entered into the BF4 Beta, which is currently slated for Fall 2013. Please be mindful of any scam sites asking for your Origin info, since any official BF4 info will be found at http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4 .

Great game off and online just thought they were going to be releasing patches to adjust game play to help balance it out and fix visually problems like BF3 does, but apparently not.
