Ubisoft Games Are Now Available On Origin

At Origin, we strive to be your primary gaming service. Not only do we sell EA games, but we also offer titles from more than 70 top publishing partners around the globe. I'm proud to announce that we're adding Ubisoft to our list of publishing partners starting today in North America, and on February 22nd in Europe and Asia.

On top of Ubisoft games now being available on Origin, we are also making great EA games like Dead Space 3 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted available on Ubisoft's new Uplay service. The heart of any valuable gaming service is delivering all the great content that players want, and the addition of Ubisoft’s top PC titles on Origin, as well as EA’s titles to Uplay, is a big win for all of our players.

Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 are already available for you to purchase and download on Origin now, and more popular Ubisoft titles—such as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction—will be added in the months to come. You can play these great games, but now with Origin benefits like cloud storage, social connectivity, and more. Today, Origin is reaching more players than ever before, and these exciting additions from Ubisoft show how committed we are to continually expanding the roster of hit games available and ready for download on Origin.

We’d love to hear from you. What games or publishers would you like to see come to Origin next?

Sawerko - If you have some specific feedback, we're more than willing to listen, but just stating the above won't change anything.

Here's our "Ideas and Suggestions" section of the forums if you would like to provide some constructive feedback: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/forums/show/3917.page

Great news! I'll be looking forward to picking up Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory when it goes on sale.

I hope you guys can get Square-Enix titles on origin next. I still haven't gotten around to buying Hitman: Absolution yet.

You need to buy it from Origin in order to include it in origin.
Physical copy can't be activated.

As Honesty123 said (way to live up to your name!), it is currently not possible to activate Ubisoft games on Origin, although you can of course add them to your Library like any other non-Origin game.

If you buy ubisoft games though origin that require uplay you have to install it, too. Of you Start that Game (as it is with the steam games available on origin) uplay client will Start to Run the Game.
The Same with ea games on uplay. You can download them though uplay but it will install and Run through origin. So of you buy e.g. Assassins creed 3 you Need to reister it with your uplay Account.
