Get ready to race Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Koenigsegg Agera Cop Cars this fall in Need for Speed Rivals. Developed by Ghost Games (with some help from Criterion), Rivals puts you in Redview County, where cops and racers risk everything in the ultimate rivalry. Rivals brings back the cop/racer dynamic last seen in Need for Speed Most Wanted, but with new features like the ability to switch roles at any time and the All-Drive system where you can seamlessly race between single and multiplayer gameplay (no lobbies or waiting). All-Drive combines with the updated Need for Speed Network where not only can you share progress and pictures with friends, but you can also drop roadblocks or alert friends of incoming cops.
Rivals also brings back power-ups via technology and upgrades specific to each side of the law. Racers can evade their pursuers by using jammers and electromagnetic pulses, while cops can go busting with shockwaves, roadblocks, helicopter support and more.
Rivals is also bringing Need for Speed into the next-generation via Frostbite 3. The same engine that's responsible for all of the destructible environments and carnage will now render all the slick looking cars racing through picturesque Redview County—along with shifting weather conditions like snow, rain, dust storms, and heavy fog.
Pre-ordering today gets you the Ultimate Cop Pack, which includes exclusive access to the Nissan GT-R Black Edition, early access to level 2 gadget technology, and exclusive livery options.
