If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush that’s a blast to play with a friend then look no further. Army of TWO is known for its innovative co-op gameplay, heart-pounding action, and gritty storylines. AO2: The Devil’s Cartel is certainly no exception. In addition to new ways to cooperate, outmaneuver, and outgun your opponents, there's the new Overkill feature that rewards you for working together with an incredible burst of destructive power. Thanks to the Frostbite 2 engine (also seen in Battlefield 3), this destructive power can be applied towards the fully destructible environments. That means you can truly unleash chaos as buildings crumble, cars explode, and helicopters go down in flames.
The story takes place some years after the last AO2 game. It involves a duo of new agents on a routine mission that—naturally—goes completely haywire and plunges them into an all-out war with one of Mexico’s most dangerous drug cartels. As with the rest of the games in the series, the story feels as though it’s been ripped from the headlines, upping the immediacy of the action sequences and making for an adrenaline-filled ride. Jump into the action blockbuster of video games today.
