Today we’re excited to announce a new update to the Origin client, designed to add new account security features and updates to Twitch.tv broadcasting. Update 9.1.10 will arrive today for beta opt-in users and next week for the broader Origin community. If you’re eager to test the new update but haven’t signed up to for beta access, don’t worry opting in is simple (and free).
With this week's update we continue our ongoing adjustments to Origin Account security features by adding more security questions to the existing database. The update will also improve our live broadcasting feature for users who may have experienced some less-than-seamless streaming in recent weeks. Finally, we’ve implemented several tweaks to improve the service as a whole, including the ability to make changes to your account settings or information from the web.
Official Release Notes for Origin 9.1.10:
Added additional account security questions.
Fixed an issue that was preventing some users from broadcasting to Twitch.
Added the ability to update account settings via web browser.
Additional miscellaneous bug fixes.
